The Story of Heroes’ Path
This started with a quiet thought. What do we do with the time we have? All of us have known people who carried heavy burdens. Some wore uniforms. Some wore aprons. Some taught in worn-out schools or raised families alone. Others came home from war and built communities one day at a time. What tied them together wasn’t their job. It was how they handled adversity. How they kept going.
They didn’t ask for attention. They didn’t speak in grand terms. But they showed you what it meant to live with purpose. They raised families, showed up early, and stayed late. Over time, the world got louder. Fast answers replaced thoughtful ones. Many forgot where we came from. We stopped asking questions about character and courage. The kind that grows slowly, under pressure.
Many of our schools stopped teaching those lessons. So we built a place for those questions to live again. A place to learn, to grow, to remember, and to serve. We called it Heroes’ Path.
It’s a program made for people who want to move forward with meaning. Some are young. Some are seasoned. Some are starting over. All are looking to grow stronger in the places life has tested them. Here, we study real lives. We honor effort. We earn our way forward. Each person walks their own path, but they do not walk alone.
Along the way, there are stories, lessons, and symbols to mark the ground we’ve covered. Coins are given, not for completion, but for commitment. The work is sometimes hard. It’s meant to be. Because growth never comes easy. And nothing worth keeping ever does.
We believe that history belongs to all of us. So does service. So does the next chapter. This is your Heroes’ Path. If you’re ready, we’ll walk it with you.
What Our Supporters Are Saying…
Thomas CT Canham
“I would like to thank you for making a video about my great grandfather Major General Charles D W Canham. I never see anything about him except for the rare mention of him in books on WWII.”
George Aldridge, Jr.
“John, Great! Thanks for saying Hi to my Dad. I really enjoyed our time together. Attached is the list I found after my dad’s death on his time in Europe.”
Tom Neale
“We had to stop the Q&A after 20 minutes... John left to a standing ovation from a grateful audience. As Co-Chair, many approached me afterwards saying “that was the best ACG keynote speaker I have ever heard.” I concur.
If you want your company or association to receive a presentation on leadership that they will never forget, schedule Green Beret Colonel John Fenzel. You will not be disappointed.”
Together, we can shape the future. One story, one classroom, one leader at a time.
